About Sammis Greenhouse
We are family owned growers, located in Centre Hall, PA since 1992. We begin our growing season in December by rooting 100,000 cuttings, with more arriving every few weeks and additional plants grown from seed. Between December and April we’re filling pots, baskets, and flats with soil, then hand-transplanting seedlings and plugs. When we open in mid-April, the entire inside of the greenhouse (about an acre) is full of plants. As the weather improves and plants begin blooming, the space becomes a tapestry of color and texture. We have a massive succulent section, perennials, herbs, shrubs, vegetable starts etc.Display areas are paved and handicap accessible, as is most of our parking lot. Cash, checks, most credit/debit cards accepted.

Always love visiting Sammis for plants I need for my yard and deck. Very reasonable prices, and they have nearly everything you'd need. Great quality as well.

Most of the plants are SINGLE pots or hanging baskets. Using a CREDIT CARD? Expect a 4% extra charge. Just disappointed that they didn't have more 4 or 6 packs. Oh and no bathrooms yikes!

Absolutely impressive number of beautiful hanging baskets and flats. Huge variety of annuals and perennials. Staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. Pictures aren't enough. You just have to visit!

Wonderful place to get your yearly flowers. My wife wanted some more hanging baskets, she had never been to Sammis so off we went. While Fox Hill Gardens is my go to for State College plants. If I need flowering plants and herbs in bulk Sammis is the place to go. In the spring the green houses are a riot of color. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
